Rosie Mayflown lives a fairly normal life. She's an only child with parents who are constantly going away on business. Oftentimes she tags along, other times, she's left in the care of another family member. This summer, there's a change in plans. She's being sent to a summer camp in which she dreamed so much about. Ghosts populate the large terrain, and she isn't ready to face them. Speaking to ghosts is what she refers to as her hidden ability. Her parents never believe Rosie can see them, and her best friend Maddison is the only one who believes her. But imagine, having to face the place you've avoided for many years? Having to confront the voices that haunt your dreams?

This is the story of an 18-year-old girl, who is quiet and lost in her own dreams, a condition brought on by a terrifying nightmare that haunts her every night. Along with this, she has unanswered questions about her life, questions to which no one seems to have an answer. Then, one day, she is suddenly forced to go somewhere, and there, she uncovers something so horrific that it shatters her very soul-something beyond anything she had ever imagined in her worst nightmares. The chilling truth that awaits her in this place is far worse than anything she could have envisioned in her dreams. The very fabric of her reality begins to unravel as she faces a terror that is all too real and far more sinister than anything she could have ever feared. "I hear them," Ina said quietly, "who's there," Ina shout, "I feel like someone's here," Ina murmured, her voice shaky. Suddenly, a soft voice echoed through the empty halls, Ina froze. It wasn't her imagination. Someone was calling out to her, a voice filled with sorrow.... Something familiar was there ..
