Introduction
My mind came through a change, it turned me into something venomous, neutral, just numbed the pain. Why me? That's what has been in my thoughts since the accident. I can't control this feeling, it is something horrible yet satisfying. It makes me feel different, alive, better than I have always been. Then I turn to look into a mirror, I ask why can't I feel some of the emotions I used to have. Why did I change so much? Am I still me?
It all started when I was just a little girl, 4-5 years old, but I recognized it when I turned 13. Hi, my name is Anastasia, I'm 16. I'm pretty much going to talk about my whole life story, which emphasizes what happened on that accident, it turned me into something different... but exciting. Therefore I'll begin with my first memory ever of the visions I had. Oh by the way, I am a Mirage.

Laid upon the pages of this book is a story. This is an autobiography. I struggled with writing this and, as you will soon understand, though I knew how to write it, writing it and thinking about it was difficult. I have not labeled the chapters in hopes that you will read all the way through. You may understand me a little more if you do so, but, on the same note, you may end up hating me. I do not know what your reaction will be, but I will allow your opinion of me. I give you full permission to judge me, only when you read everything. As I stare at myself in the mirror, I don't even recognize the reflection. I'm a married woman, and I can't get over that. I'm only wearing red lace underwear at the moment.
