Many pregnant moms are concerned about the safety of their exercise regimens, including the usage of pre-workout supplements, because pregnancy is a period of major bodily changes. Although it's typically advised to be active throughout pregnancy, using pre-workout supplements has to be carefully considered.

Safety Issues

The majority of pre-workout pills include substances that might be harmful to a pregnant woman:

Coffee: Excessive dosages may impact fetal development by raising blood pressure and heart rate.

The beta-alanine: Little is known about how it affects pregnant women.

Creatine: There are not enough studies on its safety for expectant mothers.

Artificial sweeteners: Some could negatively impact the growth of the fetus.
