Estella Monet seems to have it all: she is studying something she loves, has a nice apartment, a lot of people she loves and earns money with her biggest passion: playing the violin. But there is something missing. No matter how many friends she has, romance is a field she really lacks in. The moment romance starts blooming from a friendship, she beats it down, only to pretend nothing ever happened, landing many guys in that oh so dreaded friend-zone. Estella wants to find the one, and not just any guy will meet the requirements. To help her out (and maybe to also see her suffer a bit, who shall say?) her loved ones set her up on a whole set of blind dates. But why isn't it working?
Sierra Maxwell does not have her life in order. She spends all her time volunteering in her best friends, Thomas, animal shelter/ vet clinic, and lives with him since she doesn't have an income. And she loves her work, she really does, but she needs to go find her way in the world. Something she is definitely not cut out to do. She is indecisive. Not very social. And not a functioning human being in any sense of the world, really. And then there's Ace, her favorite shelter dog (don't tell the others), who doesn't seem to ever get a new family. How can she help him?
Mix in a cute kitten, some really weird dates, and an unexpected friendship, and you have a story!
