"The kiss." I finally let those words out.
"About that." Reuben looked up at me." You don't need to bother. After all it was just a kiss. It happens." He said coolly.
I opened my mouth to say something but no sound came out. Those words were a blow for me.
How could a kiss be just another thing?
"Just a kiss? It happens?" I said in disgust.
"Yeah, just a simple kiss." He repeated.
"Of course this things are so normal for you. You're the one who is with different woman every week and when you're done with them you throw them out like a tissue. What made me even think for a second that you're not like that, that you're more than those articles in the papers and magazines." I shot back and I realised that tears were rolling down my cheeks.
I rubbed my tears and continued.
"Just to remind you Mr. Reuben Bareth I'm not like those other women , so don't ever try to play with my feelings. Don't you dare." I said and stormed out of the room.
