Emmly had her solid reasons for never wanting to get involved with Aarib. He belonged to a world that had only ever brought her pain. But he was also the one she needed to protect but from a distance. She had long ago built her boundaries with quiet precision. She made sure that she never crossed that boundary. To protect him and to stop the past from getting repeated.

And she wanted to keep it that way.

But fate had its own way of dealing with things, making it so ridiculously funny that even laugh won't come out.

It all changed with one clumsy mistake-one stupid, fleeting accident. Her mind wasn't on where she walked. She didn't hold the cup with attention and before she could blink, a stream of scalding coffee had found its way onto a perfectly pressed white shirt.

    His shirt.

    Aarib.

She stammered an apology, cheeks flushed with embarrassment, already prepared to never see him again after that brief disaster. But her dignity and pride and Aarib's rudeness ruined everything.

Even though things didn't end the way Emmly want them to. But she hoped she could still maintain the distance, and let things go back to the way they were. But Aarib?

    Aarib never believed in endings.

He believed in curiosity. In chasing the sparks. Finding a spark that could lead him to his destination.

And unfortunately for Emmly, she had just ignited one.

She swears she hates him. He's convinced he hates her more. But when secrets, lies, and late-night whispers begin to blur the line between enemies and something they wouldn't even consider, neither of them is ready for what's coming. *** Aliana is loud, impulsive, and dangerously unpredictable. She lies when she's scared, smiles when she's breaking, and keeps everyone away with her endless sarcasm and sharp tongue. She doesn't need anyone. Especially not him. Ali is silent storms and cold stares. The boy with the bad reputation, a past no one talks about, and a temper that makes people flinch. He wants nothing to do with drama, especially when it wears red lipstick and calls him names. They can't stand each other. So why do they keep ending up alone in the same room? Why does every fight feel like foreplay? And why does hating him hurt more than it should? ~~~~~~ He kisses me, again and again, raw and consuming, and then pulls away; I can feel his green eyes piercing my soul. "What you told me last time, say it again," he whimpers breathlessly. "What?" I manage to ask, confused, and reel him in again for another kiss. He pulls back again, his breath hot against my skin. "That you hate me, tell me that you hate me." "I hate you," I tell him almost instantly, the lie burning on my tongue. He kisses me harder and more hungrily, and the words slip out again from my tongue: "I hate you. I hate you. I hate you." His murmurs deepen into groans, and at this exact moment, I ask myself how I'm still standing, still breathing, still present. ~~~~~~

"Are you stalking me?" His deep voice asked. "You wish, that would mean I actually thought about you enough to wonder where you are." I looked away smugly. Max moved closer to me until his face was right in front of mine. "You're saying you don't think about me?" He smirked, fully knowing what the proximity was doing to me. "I don't, why? Did you want me to?" I Regained my composure as I moved even closer, our lips nearly touching. ~~~ Alexa is a normal girl who just wanted to get through school without any trouble. She didn't want any attention. She just wanted to leave those nightmares behind, forgetting what happened before. However, all of that changes when her mum gets married and she's forced to move to a new city. Leaving everything behind, she hopes to blend in and go to university but life has other plans. In the woods, lurking in the shadows is someone who can't stay away and will definitely ruin all of Alexa's plans and change her life showing her that things aren't always as they seem. How can two people that hate each other be mates? To add to the mix, parties, late night discussions and a school trip is sure to add drama to her life. Warning: this story is sometimes very cliché and has a few of my own twists on it. The guy might make you cry, laugh or blush and wish guys like him existed in real life. (Well, at least further into the story.) This story contains swearing and some slightly mature content. You have been warned. Their hate has no origin. They hate each other just cause. They were born to two best friends who would even give their own lives for each other. But but, these two give tough competition to their fathers. They would take each other's lives if need be. They studied in the same school, even in the same class till the age of eighteen only for her to move away for a few years. In these ten years, their lives changed drastically. Where he is known for his merciless punches, she is recognized by her fashion label. Despite being few months younger than him, she knows how to prevail over him, and he knows this just as well because he lets her. Would the love of adulthood overpower the hate of childhood?
