Have you ever liked some guy that is popular, attractive and yet annoying, rude, mean at the same time? I'm sure nearly every girl has.
Mikasa your typical girl who likes this really hot guy in her class but doesn't have the confidence to confess to him. Typical, isn't it? But don't think that they'll end up falling in love, that's too cliche.
Instead it's going to be a whole twist and turn of events for this girl when she meets a boy called Alex whom she 'befriends.' Alex is the whole opposite of who Mikasa likes. Although, she becomes quite close to him, telling him her crush and him encouraging her and helping her out. Will spending time together bring them closer than just friends?
A story that is nothing more closer to reality. Making you realise sometimes the things you need most, are nowhere but right next to you.

He can be so nice, then so mean. He can care and protect, make you laugh, and at the same time play games with your head. And after he's done with that, he'll tear your heart out, rip it into the smallest fragments known to man and leave it on the floor, while all you can do is stand there, not being able to cry because you're so numb, because you thought that there was something there, when really there was nothing but a wayward boy out to break a poor girls fragile heart, because he didn't know what he wanted. *I wrote and finished this years ago then deleted it. I laugh as I walk down to the shore, holding the heels of my shoes as I walk far enough for the cool water to rush around my ankles. It's funny how life works out. I never pictured myself to be the girl outside the party, thinking about my life choices while I am half drunk but I guess kissing the school's bad boy does that to you. I wonder where I would be if I never met Cleo. If I never became her friend. Would I still have no friends? Would still be playing soccer? Would I have rebelled? I probably would still be drunk right now, I think to myself, and laugh bitterly, but get rudely interrupted. "Put your hands up, you are under arrest." I hear, spinning around and almost falling into the lake, but I save myself and there I see the flashing lights of the police, and a nice one holding cuffs, looking straight at me. Well this isn't good. ~*~ Quinn and Cleo are the best of friends. They do everything together, from sports to parties, to having a weekly girls night only for the two of them. They rule the school, but like any friendship, one is always has more power than the other, and that being Cleo. She made Quinn the girl she is today, because without her Quinn would be the bad girl that her attitude and personality was leading her to be. Cleo saved Quinn from herself. The popular ones are the wealthy snobs and the nerds are the ones who practically are their slaves. At Gradient High, these two groups can never get along! Like Ever! But who knew that the most popular guy and the nerd would actually be best friends? That's right! Alyssa and Aaron have been best friends since their diaper days. But at school, they are forced not to acknowledge each other's presence because if they did, Aaron's reputation might suffer and Alyssa may be subjected to something she hates the most: attention. While Aaron may not know, the reason why Alyssa hates attention might be even more than she lets him believe. A reason that might even force her to throw away her future dream. So will Aaron be able to break through the walls and push her out even when he has the pressure of popularity and the school status weighing him down? Get ready to expect the unexpected. ... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either.
