Keisha and Malik have been inseparable since they were kids, growing up together in the same tough neighborhood where making it out takes more than just a dream-it takes hard work, determination, and sacrifice. Keisha, a straight-A student with big plans to become a lawyer, has her sights set on Howard University. Malik, the star athlete with NFL dreams, is heading to USC on a full football scholarship. For years, they've been each other's ride-or-die, the couple everyone knew would make it, no matter what.

But when college sends them to opposite coasts, the reality of long-distance love threatens to tear them apart.
