**Book 2 of The Huntress Duology** "Do what makes you happy." What the fuck does that guy know? Happiness is bullshit. Three years have passed since Katsume left the Leaf to help train Naruto with her father, Jiraiya. Three years since she kissed Kakashi on that rooftop knowing she might never see him again. And for what? She's no closer to understanding The Old Bats' prior role before she was tasked to raise Katsume. No closer to understanding the Akatsuki's true mission. No closer to mastering an end-all finishing attack for when the Akatsuki (or Orochimaru) make their next move. And definitely not any closer to finding the traitor hiding in the shadows of Konohagakure, or maybe in plain sight... How did everything go to shit? And can Katsume overcome the obstacles littering her path to happiness? DIsclaimer: I do not own Naruto or any of its characters. The Naruto series is owned by Kishimoto. I only own my character, Katsume, and her story.

Mika Uchiha is the heir to the Uchiha clan, and she hates it. Her father pressures her to be perfect, even after her brother Itachi comes along and takes her place as heir. To cope, she leans on her best friend Kakashi. Especially after the Uchiha massacre that leaves her to care for Sasuke alone. Mika and Kakashi have been best friends since they were five, but could they be more? Everyone else seems to think so. When will they realize it? A few comments. This is my first time writing a whole story that I actually like enough to publish online, so please be kind. This is a Kakashi story, but it also focuses a lot on my OC's relationship with her family. I don't own anything that happens in Naruto! Only my OC and any plot points that weren't in the original show! Thanks for reading!
