Jobs, hobbies, lifestyles-the world has advanced to a point where nothing can be separated from VR anymore. And now, a VR game was released using the most cutting-edge technologies; its name was "Boot Hour, Shoot Curse." Our protagonist had no choice but to play solo during the closed beta test, but once the game officially launched, she made lots of friends (but not necessarily the player's friends), formed a huge clan (but not a clan of players), and matured as an individual.


The title of this story was just completely random, at first.
In the middle of writing the story, the title finally became relevant.
While coming up with the story, the game's name was also random. There was no wordplay involved. But just remember: Curiosity killed the cat~

The star of this story does whatever she wants and treats all other players simply as sources of experience points.All Rights Reserved

In the aftermath of the series of insurrections that happened in Sector C, the supercluster was once again at peace under the prosperity of the 5th Army of OverWatch. It was now a time of change in order to prevent further turmoil or conflict. While that was happening however, a cyberattack is carried out against the 5th Army's super AI - the V.O.X., which poses a threat to military and government operations. The OverWatch Intelligence and Special Combats Bureau organises an investigation team to uncover the source of the cyberattack, so it became a joint investigation between the two primary branches of the bureau, the special intelligence agency and the naval command. Author's note: This is a side story to the main series known as "Hoshi Conflicts". This lore was collectively built by a group of people, for the past 3-4 years. What began as a lore for roleplaying, has created a fully branched story, where individuals are given the task to question their ethics and questions of wether one's fighting for a right cause. The characters that are told in this story are a mix of from many other medias, and a great hanfull were not created by the me - the author. While dealing with her complicated feelings she gets an big assignment at her composing job. Note: This is my first ever fic and it took me several months to get the concept. It's a Nightcord at 25:00/ Kanade centric fic with appearances from the other units. I had an idea for an epilogue and I wanted to explore what could happen to them in the future. Hint: everything goes full circle. I'm going off my interpretations of the characters after reading Nightcord at 25:00, WonderlandxShowtime, and Leo/Need's story, so apologies if I missed anything. I am currently going through More More Jump's story right now. Btw my favorite characters are Kanade, Mafuyu, Ichika, and Honami so I really wanted to get them right. Just consider this a future AU since it's my version loosely based on the actual story. As for the virtual singers. I did not address where they went but let's just say, in between the time skip the Sekai's suddenly stopped working for an unknown reason. Miku and the others deemed each one of the units ready to head out into the world to do what they did for them, help people find their true feelings through music.
