Reading the bible can be a laborious task. The language can be so dense. The names can be so confusing. But the message is so beautiful. So perfect. We may not always feel like we’re taking much away when we read the Bible. But we are! We should all aspire to make regular Bible reading a labor of love.

In this book we begin as Joshua takes over as leader of the Israelites after Moses' death. Wars are fought, Kings are crowned, people obey and disobey. Along the way God blesses, and God punishes. Studying God's word draws us closer to Him and allows us to understand exactly what He expects from us. These true stories about our history help us to learn how to lean on our faith in God. These stories give us examples of why waiting on God's perfect timing is a very beautiful and miraculous way to live a happy life filled with overflowing abundance.Complete

Scripture Speaks
Reading God's Word is truly an enlightening, on-going experience; one that I truly enjoy. I began posting His Word in "My Highlighted Bible Verses" and couldn't stop. He started talking to me through Scripture, some of the messaging is beyond me, and still continues to be that way, although I am learning. I think He wants me to share His Word, if you can put up with some of my commentaries. This is all God's doing, and I don't take credit for any of it - He created me.
