The future is near

As Mike's world turns upside down, he experiences a lot of tough situations but for him, living in the dump of our world isn't a big problem, in fact, it's not one of his big problems at all. One of them is that he is unwanted, being hunted down for being down right different. An overall mistake. Was he? Or is the future not as good as it's said to be?
