⚠️Heavy Topics ⚠️ Mostly angst, that's my forte.
When the Bureau doesn't want the world to know what their agents sacrifice to protect the people, they keep that knowledge locked away... The motivation being to ensure that the world may never know how delicate and superficial humanity is.
You see it all the time in a profiler's every day life. Among many others, these are just some of those stories that highlight the consequential anguish and fulfillment of their job. As the team grows closer together, so too does the mutual bond of horrored truth.
Okay so, I am obviously not the feminine version of High-IQ-Genuis Doctor Spencer Reid... and though my love for Criminal Minds runs deep, neither am I a profiler. Therefore, the stories will mainly focus on the whump and fluff of the little family's expeditions- not necessarily the profiling half.
It will be mostly Season 6 and 7 based, since those are obviously my favorite. Trigger warnings- like that of CM- do apply.

(A Criminal Minds Fanfic {Dr. Spencer Reid}) Isabel Ashe: writer, supposed prodigy, all-around mystery. No one knows anything about Isabel, but that's because she wants to keep it that way. The FBI, however, doesn't want to keep it that way. Hotch this is a bad idea" Reid said following him through the prison. "It's the only option we have left, we both know this" the stern man spoke as they approached the door. "We can't just let her out and join the team- it took the FBI 2 years to track her down, what if she escapes? She's a murderer Hotch" Morgan spoke from the other side of him. "We always say that unsubs make the best profilers, she is proof of that" Hotch said as the doors slowly opened. "Hello again boys" Athena smiled from the other side of the metal desk she was chained to. Reid frowned as she winked at him. "Glad the black eye has healed; I was afraid I damaged your pretty little face forever" she said referring to the time they tried to catch her, and she beat Reid up pretty badly before escaping. Athena was the most dangerous type of unsub, she was smart and had all the skills to be a expect level profiler and she absolutely used that against the team when they were asked to track her down.
