A race believed to be extinct with magic that threaten the werewolf race.'
Julia is caught in a war. A war that has been going on long before she and Jonathan were born. Julia chose a side and now her actions are coming back after her. She, along with everyone else, knows she is a murderer with great immense power and has now brought her entire family into danger. Loup barely escaped with the help of an old pack member named Moon and carried Jonathan in his arms. Though they are apart all, the Werewolves and the Guardians are brought into a plot that goes past the ancient grudge.
Loup now stays with his old pack leader, Fox, the very man who started the war that made Guardians and Werewolves enemies. Fox explains that something very terrible is going to happen; that another war is about to start and it is all because of him and Loup. Julia begins to come into her powers while Loup is brought into a world full of prophecies and tales that might ring true. Ever since the meadow her powers have become depleted or uncontrollable. As she masters her powers an enemy closes in on the truth to why they were staying in the small middle America town. An enemy surfaces itself and unknowingly Julia is preparing for a battle.
