Melanie Smith admits she wasn't happy with her life, and was stuck in a cold dark void. She bottled up her emotions. The first time she killed someone, it was an accident. So were all the other times. When she meets Ryan, her instincts are screaming at her to run away. When she developes feelings fro Ryan, that was the death of her.
