Shoe is a young adult from the year 2040, (look at the mf next to Lincoln in the title image for lack of better reference) he did so bad in history class because he didn't see a point to it. this went until he was now in college but had to retake 14 years of history classes. So they got time travel and the historians of the world decided the only way this man can learn history is quite literally BY BEING THERE. shoe doesn't know the history of anything so he's effectively just some guy from the future with no idea what will happen so he cant alter the timelines too bad
