This story is a BL between two of my newest OCs (original characters), Soo Yeong and Han Hyuk, who meet for the "first time" as college dorm mates. They are both swimmers except Soo stopped swimming after a tragic accident from his past resurfaced in a dream and created his new fear of water. Han Hyuk attempts to figure out why this guy who used to be known as the best swimmer in middle school suddenly refused to even look at a large body of water as soon as high school started. The story will follow their journey of self-discovery and healing as they come to terms with parts of themselves they were always told to hide. Their struggle may be different and they may not be facing the same challenges but they quickly form a bond over traumatic experiences in their youth and shared trauma they experience together in their first year as roommates. Will Han Hyuk give in to his familial struggles and continue to hide his identity from his friends? Will Soo Yeong fold under the weight of expectations to conquer his fear? Will they be able to come together and build a healthy relationship regardless of all the baggage they carry? Will they survive the traumatic experiences they will encounter that will test them mentally? And will they push past their fears and insecurities to become better for themselves and each other?

Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd) Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
