When a killer begins targeting Celebrities the whole of the Celebrity media world goes into meltdown. With every Celebrity refusing to do any media exposure that might attract the killer, ‘Spectacle’ magazine is struggling for survival. Jimmy Churchill their hot low-life journo-hack concerned for his fast diminishing career decides to attempt to do what the Police force are struggling to do, and find the killer himself. He dives head first into the murky world of Vanity, Ego and paranoia whilst the killer begins to step up his campaign.

But Jimmy is torn – he despises the vacuous celebrity world he writes about and dreams of writing something more meaningful, like an intelligent take down of our shallow obsession with fame. He is trapped by the money and his own inertia and by his controlling and domineering mother who is a super-fan and more obsessed with the famous than anyone else he knows. He longs for her approval and admiration and knows if he severs his link with the world of Celebrity, she will not approve. Growing in admiration for the killer, he must decide whether to apprehend the culprit and save his career and win his mothers admiration or join him on his quest to make the world a better place.

This is a high octane comedy crime caper that explores the crazy world of celebrity and ultimately begs the question - what does a Celebrity killer do when he becomes a Celebrity?

𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐚 I downed a shot of tequila, allowing the burning liquid to slide down my throat and settle in my stomach. I deserved to have some fun without boundaries. I poured a second glass and it disappeared as quickly as the first. Then came the third, fourth and fifth. Still I wasn't satisfied. My landlady was a bitch, I was fired and my boyfriend cheated on me. My nerves were shot to hell! My eyes lazily scanned the nightclub as I consecutively downed my sixth shot for the evening. Life's a bitch. 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐨 I sat in the VIP section of the club, a glass of vodka in my hand as I watched the woman several yards away drowning herself in tequila. My lips curled in amusement. The red dress she wore showed a generous amount of cleavage, her ass was ripe and full, begging to be groped. She looked to be eighteen. I wondered what a pretty thing like her was doing in a place like this, drinking like there was no tomorrow. Not that it was any of my business. Women came, got laid and wasted in this nightclub every night. Nothing special to see here. "Muori figlio di puttana." I pulled the trigger on my gun and shot the Mexican in the head after he was caught stealing coke from my warehouse. Blood splattered everywhere, staining the walls and my designer suit. I tucked my gun back in my pocket and left the ally. "He killed a guy!" I shrieked as I turned to run away from there as fast as possible. Just as I was about to run back inside, a large hand clamped around my neck and I was pressed up against a rock solid chest. My jaw was caressed by - a gun!? "Going somewhere piccola?" a deep voice whispered in my ear. "Let me go, you sick twisted bastard!" I growled. "Feisty and a foul mouth. I like it," he chuckled. "You killed someone! I'm calling the cops!" I shouted. "Princess I own the cops," he said stroking my face. "and now I own you. Say goodbye to your old lif

"I already killed your mother, Cam." As the words left my enemy's mouth like a mocking sneer, I growled under my breath at the mention of my old name. Memories started to boil up that I had been wanting to squash deep into my heart. Bad memories. "As you can guess, I'm here to finish the job." He continued with that ever-present sinister smirk on his face. And in that moment, a sudden burst of confidence just appeared within me. Or blatant stupidity. 'I'll take either one.' I silently admitted to myself. I rolled my eyes at his so-called 'threat', not really intimidated in the least. "Yeah, like that went so well the first time. The first time, you fucked up enough to get caught by the police." I pointed out. "The second time, your grown-ass men got their asses handed to them by two teenagers." I snorted at him. "Your odds aren't looking too good here, Berti." ~•~ Losing her father? Lovely. Getting in a car accident with her aunt, uncle, and cousin and being the sole survivor? Fantastic. Losing her mother because a deranged psychopath holds a grudge even better than The Grinch? Amazing. Being ostracized from her own family save from her paternal grandparents, and getting the blame for her mother's death? Cherry on top of the cake. Having to make sure three idiotic twats don't get themselves killed because they couldn't mind their own bloody business? Bloody hell, that's an entire ice cream cake with ten pounds of gummy bears. ~•~ Join Grace Stanton as she faces her demons and the demons of her past all while trying not to commit murder against her three new friends. Rob Beeton spends his days sitting behind a desk investigating patterns of household waste disposal in Hertfordshire. In the evenings he balances arguing with his wife with making silly voices for his infant son's cuddly toys. By night he sleeps alone in the spare room next to the wardrobe with the broken hinges while he wonders if the garage door will ever actually fix itself. Meanwhile, Lisa Curly works in a library in the most deserted fishing town in Scotland. The man she shares her life with spends more time on his boat than with her and the last time he touched her, the internet was still using dial-up connection. A few houses down the street her mother is dying of something that is most likely cancer, but the old girl refuses to get it diagnosed. Rob and Lisa lost contact after leaving secondary school at sixteen, but, courtesy of the internet, found each other again and, more importantly, have been able to locate online those eight pupils who tormented them the most during their younger years. With five dead and only three to go, Rob and Lisa's murderous revenge is nearly coming to an end. However, when the improbably-named Detective Peter Piccolo moves into the house next to Rob, something definitely appears amiss. Is this the most surreal police sting ever contrived, or is it just an enormous coincidence for Rob and Lisa? Is Piccolo trying to be their friend, carry out some sort of undercover surveillance, or is he just an even bigger monster than the two of them combined? Either way, the brooding copper is a massive spanner in their works and something will have to be done if Rob and Lisa are going to literally lay the pasts to rest and move on with their lives.

"Stop pretending to be an idiot, idiot." Ouch. It burns. "You're starting to sound like a dear old friend of mine," she adds, her tone implying that her "friend" isn't so much of a "friend" as a mortal enemy who she probably also dragged into an alley on multiple occasions. Because she must be a fan of alley-dragging. Theater major. "I bet that friend was super amazing," I retort anyway. "She'd have to be to put up with you." Oh! Snap! I grin like an idiot at my own joke, realize how uncool that is, and then quickly rearrange my face into a frown. "I'm sorry. I don't quite understand. You're supposed to be a superhero, so why are you threatening a fellow superhero? Isn't that kind of against our code or whatever?" "You don't have a code. Superheroes who follow codes don't drop off information about people's allegedly dead sons at their doorsteps and then run." Well, can't say she doesn't have a point there. -- After being framed for the horrific murder of Birchwood City's most revered superhero's six year-old son, Maya Waterman abandons her super-villain persona and finds herself lost without any sense of identity and purpose. Being hunted by a vengeful super is hard enough, but after her employer fires her and she's evicted from her apartment, Maya begins to become something she had prayed she would never become again- helpless. She needs nothing less than a miracle to save herself, and much to her surprise, she gets just that-- even if it entails her trying her hand at becoming a good guy for once.

"Why would a beautiful woman such as yourself put yourself in such a difficult position?" I do not answer. I'm a decorated police officer, his mafia tactics do not scare me. Smack " I asked you a fucking question" I spit out the blood that gathered in my mouth. I was hit again this time with more aggression. I got dizzy, and struggled to steady my vision. "Do you think I'm playing games with you, hm? Do you think I have time to waste?" I look up at him with hatred burning through my eyes, radiating my anger and tolerance. "No matter how much you hate it, you need me-" " I need NO ONE!-" "SO DO IT!" "PULL THE FUCKING TRIGGER" _________________________________________________________________________________ He never wanted to becoming the monster he is. He never intended to kidnap a woman against her will. But if your daughter was taken, wouldn't you do the same?
