The sun hung low in the sky, casting an orange glow over the endless expanse of sand. Alhaitham stood at the edge of the desert, his heart racing with a mixture of worry and anger. It had been two days since kaveh had failed to return from work, two days filled with arguments that echoed painfully in his mind.
