Two worlds that couldn't be further apart. Two worlds that collide anyway.

Jude's calm and collected demeanor has brought her everywhere she wanted to be so far. After accepting an offer from a local cafe in her hometown, Bismarck, she moves back with good intentions only. Soon after beginning her career as a cook, she meets her unappreciated helper. He isn't what Jude expected, and the unappealing banter between them makes her daily routine harder. Concentration becomes a priority, but holding onto it is infuriatingly difficult when working next to dark hair and sculpted muscles.

Xaden has moved on from past demons and haunting memories. He's focused solely on himself and his future. To achieve his goal of opening his own car repair shop, he starts working in a cafe to earn money. Jude is a thorn in his side, and he tries everything to crumble down her walls by annoying her every chance he gets. That he'd think about her and smell her scent outside of work definitely isn't something he had thought of happening at the beginning.
