Broken Dreams

He came in my life to be my peace. He became my peace, my safe place, my home, my anchor in life. My lighthouse, guiding me through life. He became my everything. We became each others everything. We went through all the ups and downs together. Nothing felt impossible if we are together. Nothing seems out of my reach with him by my side. But why did I forgot that my lives hates me. That happiness would always be out of my reach. Why didn't I learn my lesson after that incident. After my idol shattered me. But I guess, I cant complaint a lot because even if we lost each other. Even if he is not by myside, I have our memories. I still have him in my life, just not as I would have liked. But I guess, that's life isn't it. Expect the unexpected.
