Sera entered a dim antique store filled with the scent of aged wood and dusty relics. While her friends browsed nearby, she was captivated by an ornate pocket watch in a corner. Feeling a strong connection to it, she bought the watch, excited to restore it.

That night, as Sera tried to fix the watch at her desk, it remained silent despite her efforts. Frustrated, she set it aside and fell asleep. In the quiet of the night, she was awakened by a soft ticking sound. To her surprise, the watch glowed in the moonlight, and its hands moved in a strange sequence: one tick at one, two ticks at eight, a pause, three ticks at eight, and four ticks at two.

Unbeknownst to her, the same watch was held by a young man with initials of E.P., 142 years earlier, ticking in the same pattern. As Sera observed the watch, she felt a mysterious connection through time, hinting at a deeper intertwining of their lives that would challenge her beliefs about love and destiny.

I watched him watch me as he was about to press his fist into the big red button that read "Emergency Fire!". I was unable to form words because, I thought about how hot he looked as he stared back at me with such intensity. It just intrigued me. I finally snapped out of my trance, but not because I'd came to my senses, but because I felt a cold sensation running down my body. I blinked about three times before it finally registered that he'd pressed the button and now water was spilling from the roof, and some students were laughing and playing. My breath hitched in my throat as he came closer. "You really should've worn a more, I don't know, a thicker shirt or bra. Because your two lovely friends are standing at attention." as the words left his mouth, realization caught up to me and I flushed with embarrassment and quickly crossed my arms over my chest. Talk about scarred for life! Jerk. Meet Charm Mill, your typical nerdface. She's the smartest girl in school, straight A's, great punctuality.. eveything in the book. She's also the invisible girl. No one notices her. But, for her, that's a great thing. She feels that going unnoticed means less drama, which is correct. But, what happens when Heath Cullen gets himself in trouble because he's not performing the way he should and the principal forces Charm to tutor him? Will this be a ticket to hell or a ticket for the bad boy to find his true love? Copyrighted. ©

***[[COMPLETED!!]]*** [[Previously titled "Serendipity"]] Stranded at a graduate recruitment event after mentally breaking up with her then boyfriend, 20 year old Sera Seme meets the ever so sexy, charming and hopelessly intriguing Abimbola Blake. Shortly after this encounter, Sera's life seemingly starts falling into place: She gets the guy (even if its just for one night) the internship she wants, and is seemingly one step away from making all her dreams come true. But looks can be deceiving, because underneath her seemingly perfect life, Sera is filled with pain and sadness from her past traumas in life. Sera thinks she is just postponing having to deal with the pain and bitterness associated with events from her past, but little does she know that her grief is eating her from the inside out. Little does she know that what she is doing is not living at all, but rather re-enacting the most traumatic events from the past that she absolutely refuses to come to terms with. And as she tries to grasp this, and come to terms with it, she realizes that she is not the only one dealing with demons, and that the sooner she realizes the world doesn't revolve around her, the better. This book mostly tries to illustrate one of the most confusing psychological phenomena's to date; the "repetition compulsion." In 'repetition compulsion', a person repeats a traumatic event or its circumstances over and over again. This includes re-enacting the event or putting oneself in situations where the event is likely to happen again. While no hard-and-fast answers exist, this book tries to offer explanations as to why "just leave" is not an option for some individuals exposed to unstable or traumatic relationships. The echoes of tomorrow by The1mperfectDiary

In a world where the future isn't written but echoed, 17-year-old Lila hears the whispers of events yet to happen - but they're not hers. The echo she's been hearing for months is someone else's life, someone's fate, and that someone is in danger. As she tries to uncover the identity of the person behind the mysterious echoes, Lila finds herself caught in a web of secrets, shadowy figures, and a powerful organization that will do anything to keep their plans hidden. Can she stop what's coming before it's too late, or will the echoes become her own fate? First Chapter (Excerpt): I've always heard things. It started when I was younger - whispers of something I couldn't see, couldn't understand. At first, it was just faint sounds, like voices drifting from another world. But by the time I was sixteen, those whispers turned into something more - echoes. Clear, distinct, and impossible to ignore. It's strange. Most people think the future is something that hasn't happened yet. But for me, it's not that simple. I hear the future. The thing is, the future I hear isn't mine. I've been hearing her - a girl I don't know, yet know everything about. Her life, her fears, her pain. I can't explain how, but I hear her voice every night, calling out for help. I don't know her name. I don't know her face. All I know is that something horrible is coming for her. And if I can't stop it... then her fate might echo into mine. Tonight, I hear her again. The echo sharpens, clearer than ever before. "Help me, Lila. It's happening. They're coming." The echo fades. And just like that, I'm left with a choice - follow the voice, or ignore it and risk the consequences. I don't know why it's me she's calling to, but I can't just do nothing. I owe it to her. And to myself.

The Numbers on Our Arms

42 parts Complete

(Discontinued/ On hiatus with no guarantee of another chapter) John had always denied that the number on his arm was showing her because her soulmark couldn't show his, right? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Everyone is born with a number on their body - at the time 1.0. It varied where it was on one's body, but there were always a few consistent features for each person: it had their soulmate's ability level, eye colour and it would glow anytime they activated their ability, like their eyes would. At that very moment, Seraphina had pulled back the sleeve on her left forearm as she stared out in horror at the scene unfolding before her. The 7.5 showed on her forearm near her wrist with a burnt orange-gold glow.
