This is supposed to be taken from the point of view of a young boy writing in a journal / diary so the writing is bad on purpose. This is the backstory to another character of mine. More about him is in the Ponce De Leon Springs High story.
After a crazy goddess possesses his family he is saved by two other gods which take him to a mysterious island with multiple different kinds of monsters. He comes to learn that he is a disciple of one of them and is sent on different juries battling the creatures.
Meanwhile his family is absolutely mortified after coming back to their senses and desperately try to find their kid. His God's wife and child also become worried for his mental and physical health. Our main protagonist is forced with the decision to try and find a way off the island and back home or stay to protect the young girl who he has grown attached to (Platonically!).
I will also like to make a disclaimer that recently and by recently I mean in the past few months I've seen videos on tiktok talking about the character Leo from Percy Jackson. There are some similarities between Leo and my character which I was not aware of since I made my character back in 2020 or 2021 (I can't remember), That was long before I even heard of the Percy Jackson series let alone Leo. I've made a lot of adjustments and changes in order to try to make the characters as different as possible but also not completely create a completely different character since I've been working with this one for a long time in other projects and drafts.
This will be repeated in chapter 1.

Percy Jackson Fanfiction: Glaciem(First Version)
It's so cold...I feel like I'm freezing up. Literally. I felt like everything inside was beginning to change...who I was, what I was, and just me. I opened my icy blue eyes. Everyone I knew, Annabeth, The Seven, the Gods, everyone except my mother, Paul, and Grover, betrayed me or wanted me dead. I'm a demigod on the run. And I'm losing myself to a part of me that I never knew existed. The morning dew on the leaves around me froze to crystallized droplets as I walked by. Just as I was admiring the beauty of it all, a shout came from behind me and I turned. A hunter was pointing my way and more people came. Twenty more hunters, and roughly forty demigods. I turned away from them and ran while taking out my sword. Riptide. It wasn't what it used to be. Before it had a blue green colored trident etched into a glowing bronze metal and a golden hilt. Now? The bronze glowed silver because of a thin layer of deadly ice. The trident became an icy blue, just as my eyes had changed and the hilt was now black and silver. Why? I'm changing. The world destroyed me. So I'm changing. To someone I'm not. I can't stop it. I can keep running before I freeze over entirely. Then I'll be unstoppable. = = = so im writing a second draft and i realized i screwed up the whole plot in this story because it wasnt meant to be cliche but it turned out to be so this is gonna be the first version and the second version im writing at an incredibly slow rate so yeah this version is not the best to say it nicely [lowercase and terrible grammar intended because I'm lazy]Complete

They try to run but there's no time. We try to hide but there's No TIME. when I was a kid, I tried to learn all I could but now I wish I could lose it all. <TW: As I lay here choking on my blood I stare at the heavens and ask for one last ray to see me off. As the rain washes my blood along the earth, being soaked in by the hungry land. That day something was different, something changed in me. A new light shines deep within me, my torso once in two now slowly becoming one as black tar slowly stitched me back together. The greedy land soaks up my blood, now not a drop lies in my body but the gods are ready as the earth slowly starts to reach for me taking me to its restless lands replacing my blood with tar. ^ This fic is a combination of a BBC's Merlin set in the future/ current times but it's more of an Adjacent timeline to ours, OC insert, and a bit of Arthurian myth set in the modern day. This is my first story so sorry if it's bad Even though it's an OC insert it can be read as a self-insert. OC's name is pronounced as Z-AYAH (Zaya) TW -bad writing - gore - gay? - no real sense of time - I'm a big fan of angst - I ship Lancelot x Gawain as well as Merlin x Arthur. When the quiet college student Alexander Hamilton arrives at Kings College, he automatically feels like something was gonna go completely wrong. Similar to most things in the young boy's life. Unfortunately, his suspicions were correct. He found out he had to share a dorm with none other than his enemy from high school, Thomas Jefferson. Thomas had bullied Alex countless times during their senior year of high school, (when Alex transferred,) and Alex hadn't gotten over it when he saw him again. I mean, who would be all cool with their roomie that made them cut themselves? But anyways, over time, Alex notices that Thomas isn't the basic bully that he seems, and there's a lot more to him that what he previously saw. And the more of Thomas he saw, the more he started to love him. Would Thomas return those feelings? Or would he make Alex's life a living hell for confessing his feelings? (DISCLAIMER!! I was 11 or 12 when I wrote this and had no grasp on the proper language and behavior for fanfic. I said a lot of inappropriate stuff in this book, and I have altered what I could in light of becoming older and recovering from the really awful experience that made me act out the way I did. Some parts are important to the story, so I can't erase them. But I will put trigger warnings for almost smut and self-h*rm. And maybe some stereotypes and insensitive language, as I was uneducated about lgbtq and how it can be appropriately represented by a straight woman. To anyone I've made uneasy in any way, I'm sorry. I was a real annoying and inappropriate writer. I've been a lot more friendly about my books since this, and my family and friends have helped me see how mentally messed up I was when I was writing this. I feel sick to my stomach thinking I once wrote like this and conducted myself in this manner. Please forgive me. I've learned a lot in the four years since I wrote this.
