Make one wrong move and you won't live to see tomorrow.
Neal can't stand the humans. To him, they're nothing but whinny, ungrateful hypocrites that are just as, if not more, violent then them. After all, they're the one leaving trails of blood in their wake through their riots which he's more then happy to break apart, even if it means executing those involved. However, when a human name Emery stands in the crossfire to save his life, Neal starts to wonder just who really is right and wrong in this blaming game.
Everyone for themselves. That's the saying that's been drilled into Emery's head ever since she can remember. If you decided to help someone, don't be surprised if they stab you in the back later, especially if they're a genetic. So when Emery finds that herself dragging an injured genetic, further more an elite, into her home her life is suddenly thrown upside down. The lines between right and wrong are blurred the longer she finds herself with him.
A revolution is on the way, and if they don't figure out just who they can trust, humans and genetics alike, all they love will be lost in the war of blood and death.
