Nadir is a world where humans are the lowest form of life, they are hunted, enslaved, hunted, and torn apart by the towering, godlike Nades. For generations, the Nades have ruled with ruthless tradition, and the humans, weak and disposable, are forced to survive in the shadows. The Tradition is the ultimate bloodsport-a savage ritual where 24 humans and 24 Nades are thrown onto a cursed island to battle each other, the elements, and the monstrous creatures of darkness, creatures born from the darkest nightmares of Nadir's past. For ten months, the island becomes a graveyard.

 This year, everything changes.

Kai'vier, a human hybrid, has been chosen-the first of his kind to ever be thrust into the Tradition. Raised by a fallen Nade clan and marked by a forbidden bloodline, Kai'vier stands between two worlds that hate him. To the Nades, he is a disgrace, a stain on their purity. To the humans, he's an outsider with too much Nade in his veins. But for Kai'vier, the Tradition is more than a fight for survival-it's a battle for revolution. If he can survive deaths razor-sharp claws, the brutal Nade warriors, and the deadly isolation of the island, he could become a symbol of hope for the oppressed, and the spark that ignites a rebellion.

His fight is no longer just for survival-it's for revolution. But in a world where trust is a weapon and betrayal are inevitable, can one hybrid change the fate of his own kind?

As the sun vanished the world was thrown into chaos, vampires had taken over.. With the take over they hadn't realized that this could possibly be the downfall of their race, especially when they discovered their mates in humans or even changed humans. An anomaly had started to appear in some of those that were either created or born. It had created what Vampires and humans had started to call Hybrids. Some vampires started to take action against the hybrids where others saw no issue until a new King rose to the throne. This king held a few secrets of his one, one being his Queen was a hybrid: the very thing he detested and the very thing she was. The other was one that not even his Queen knew, so when she was allowed to leave the kingdom to go in search of one of her sisters that very secret would soon be revealed to her. If the vampires were allowed to ride the world of the hybrids, that would also mean the end of the human races, if the hybrids that had soon formed a rebellion against the tyrant ruler succeeded in overthrowing the king it would be the end of the secrets that he had been hiding for several decades. If the rebellion won would they order the end of the vampires or would they learn to coexist. Either way one way or the other the world was about to change once again. Maybe someday someone would be able to bring the sun back, for now that wasn't something anyone was thinking about. #ONC2022 Prompt #19 The sun goes out and no one knows why, just as no one can say for certain how life on earth is able to carry on without the life giving necessities of its star. But with the planet on the state of perpetual darkness, the vampires certainly aren't complaining.

They grew side-by-side with mankind on Midgard until present day. 5000 years later their culture is steeped in pagan traditions that have led to prostitution being sanctioned and promoted by various churches, and very open and even incestuous life-styles. The ratio of monogamous to polygomist relationships is about 50/50. Harems and reverse harems are equally commonplace.
