Disclaimer:
This book contains a lot-and I mean a lot-of sick, twisted acts and events. So much so that, during the writing process, I genuinely questioned my own sanity and considered checking myself into a mental institution. (Still debating, honestly.) But hey, that's probably what makes this book all the more interesting, right?

If you enjoy what happens here, well... you're probably just as twisted as I am-if not worse.

No clowns, mannequins, or circus staff were harmed during the writing of this book-except the imaginary ones. Proceed with caution, and remember: the circus isn't always fun and games.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

I thought this would be a simple night out-a chance to let my daughter, Emma, have some fun. Cotton candy, Ferris wheels, and maybe a rigged game or two. You know, the usual circus routine. But this? This is something else entirely.

The lights were too bright, the smiles too wide, and those two maestros running the show? They weren't here to entertain. They were here to play. And somehow, I had become their favorite contestant.

We never should have come here. Now, I'm trapped in their twisted playground, forced to play their sick games just to find Emma-because they took her. Every step forward feels like ten steps into madness, but I won't stop.

Not until I get her back.

Will she ever forgive them for abandoning her? Will they ever be able to unveil her secrets? Where was she for all those years? This is story of a girl who was abandoned by her brothers when she was seven. Now, after 9 years, her brothers brought her back home. How will she deal with them, simultaneously dealing with the terrors that haunt her every night? Sneak Peak- Once we were out, I stopped and turned to face my blood relatives and said, "Okay, now that I am out you don't need to act anymore. Now, you guys can go back to your house and pretend that this never happened. I will go to my house and will make sure that we will not cross each other's path, even by accident." I was about to turn back when Ezekiel held my elbow, stopping me on my track. I immediately snatched my hand back glaring at him and said, "Do not ever touch me again." His eyes showed an emotion of hurt that I am sure I read incorrectly because one thing that Kensington brothers are incapable of was getting hurt by any outsider. And that was what I was. An outsider. Sensing the tension in the atmosphere Aldric took it upon himself to say whatever his brother was about to. "You are going with us." He spoke. One thing about Aldric Kensington was that once he has made his mind, there is nothing in this world that can change his decision. This is the very quality of his that made my life a living nightmare, and this is exactly why I hate him more than any of my brothers. "Let's go Athaliah," Ezekiel said this time. That name. No one has called me by that name in six years. "My name is Zahra," I corrected and continued, "And I am not going with you." #1 in running on 2/2/25 #1 in babysister on 15/12/24 #1 in brothersconflict on 27/12/24 #2 in abandoned #2 in broken #2 in abusing #2 in pastabuse #2 in nightterror #4 in olderbrother #3 in brokenfamily #5 in mafiaprincess #9 in siblings #34 in siblingrivalry #34 in littlesister #44 in ptsd #51 in misunderstood #59 in mafia

Despite being immensely wealthy and influential, his heart is hardened due to internal family conflicts, turning him into a stoic figure. He made a solemn vow to his mother to prioritize the family above all else, even sacrificing the prospect of marriage to dedicate himself entirely to their success. However, his devotion to his family becomes his burden as they become the source of his inner turmoil. His tough exterior makes him unapproachable, instilling fear in those who dare to interact with him. Yet, fate intervenes and introduces someone unexpected into his life. Enter Paridhi, a 22-year-old girl from an upper-middle-class family. She exudes sweetness and innocence, though she tends to keep to herself, opening up only to those close to her. Her life seems on track, especially as she nears the fulfillment of her dream: marrying the love of her life. However, when circumstances force her to compromise and accept her family's wishes, she reluctantly complies. But what happens when their significant age difference becomes a factor? Will they be able to bridge the gap and accept each other despite the odds stacked against them? This is a tale of shattered trust, broken by those closest to them. Amidst such turmoil, will they find understanding and acceptance in each other's arms? Do not copy.
