    What Calista Gonzalez wasn't expecting was to go on a hunt for gold and unexpectedly finding love along the way with who is known as the Kook Prince. Rafe Cameron. 
    
    Cali is your normal 16 year old run of the mill pogue. Of course without the drinking and the smoking. She has amazing parents who love her and amazing friends whose she's known since she was 4. Now she wasn't necessarily one of the smartest people when it comes to school like one her best friends pope but she had confidence that if she was asked a question about celebrities or the gossip around OBX she would be able to tell you everything without missing a beat. 
    
    The only thing she didn't know stuff about was the Cameron family. They were very secretive of their lives that she only knew the basics. Like their names, how Rafe the oldest does drugs and how the siblings don't really like each other, but other than that it was blank.
    
    Pogues and Kooks don't mix. Rafe Cameron was dead set on keeping the on going war between them worse, but what he didn't expect was to end up having feelings he's never felt for a certain girl who was Best friends with the pogues he hates the most. Rafe wants to know why he has a soft spot for someone he should hate. 
    
    Calista has always had an attraction to the oldest Cameron. Maybe this summer is her chance to see what will happen. Along with the possible love brewing in her life she is also on a hunt for gold. Something she never thought she would have been for the rest of her summer. There is just one thing that Calista is hiding. She's a mermaid.
    
    I mean who would've thought that finding a boat in the water would have led her and her friends on a search for gold.
