The Girl from the Hills

This is the true account of my life between the ages of 15 and 18 (2021-2024). I moved from the city to a sheep farm, never having farmed before. I met wonderful, eccentric, chaotic people. I learned a about life on the land the hard way. I nearly died. I have watched seasons change, lives come and go on the tide of spring. I loved and lost, and hope to love again.

I want to impart everything that I have learnt to you, dear reader. I want to imbue the pages with all that has happened, so that it may not be forgotten. Because this was a crazy time, a beautiful, crazy time. And quite frankly, I want to be able to look back when I'm eighty and laugh at myself, without wondering whether I'm remembering it right or just exaggerating to entertain the grandkids.
