Training people on the dangers of fire is the last thing he wants to do, especially when Anna Daniels shows up in his class, the college RA who accidentally caused the dorm room fire that got Brooks in hot water. 

With Brooks' job at risk and Anna on the verge of being expelled, the two try to put their differences aside to make this work. It should be easy to avoid any attraction, because Brooks is insufferably cocky and free-spirited, and Anna is a no-nonsense journalist major that always does the right thing. 

But as sparks fly between them, they quickly realize that there is a thin line between love and hate, and they're dangerously close to crossing it.
