Pinili ni Talia na manirahan sa maynila at kalimutan ang lugar na kinalakihan. Sa probinsya ng kanyang mga magulang pati ng pinakamamahal niyang lola.

Marami mang magagandang bagay at ala-ala na dahilan para manatili siya ay lamang parin ang lungkot at nakuha niyang sakit sa puso na dahilan ng tuluyan niyang paglisan sa lugar na yun. Mga alaala sa mahal niyang mga magulang pati narin sa lola niya na namayapa na.

Ngunit sa paglipas ng maraming taon,  nagpasya si Talia na bumalik muli sa lugar na pinili na niya sanang kalimutan ng malaman nito ang nangyari kay Celia, hindi niya tunay na kapatid. Anak ito ng pangalawang asawa ng kanyang ina. 

Subalit hindi man tunay na kadugo ay labis ang pagmamahal niya para sa kinikilalang kapatid.

Agad-agad siyang umuwi ng malaman na naaksidente ito. Pero ganun nalang ang inis niya ng malamang hindi totoo ang aksidenteng nangyari sa pilyang kapatid, palabas lang pala nito yun. Nagalit siya dito dahil hindi magandang biro ang balitang nakarating sa kanya at dahil doon, nagpasya siyang bumalik na sana ng maynila pero dahil sa hindi niya ito matiis. Ayaw man niya, nagpasya siyang manatili nalang muna doon kahit na mga isang linggo dahil narin sa pamimilit nito lalo pa't darating narin ang nalalapit na kaarawan nito.

Subalit sa pagbabalik at sa pananatili niya, unti-unti niyang malalaman na ang dating payapa na lugar na kinalakihan ay mayroon palang nakakakilabot na nagaganap sa kasalukuyan.

Kasabay nun, makikilala niya ang isang misteryusong lalaki na laging nagpapakita at siyang makapagbibigay ng kakaibang takot sa kaniya. Kasabay ng pagkakatagpo ng landas nila ng lalaki malalaman niya ang katutuhanan tungkol sa totoong dahilan ng pagbabalik niya sa lugar na yun na  makakapagpabago ng paniniwala at tiwala niya sa mga taong nakapaligid sa kanya.
