In a world full of unknown, there was only one thing most people knew. That the name written upon their body was supposed to be their other half. Their soul-bound. No matter the species, no matter the age each person seemed to be born with a second-half somewhere out there. Though many struggled to find their soul-bound the motion was protected, the ideal idolised.

Yet for Cassie, it took hundreds of years for her soul marks to appear and so she blindly decided to throw caution to the wind and head on the next adventure. Though her plan for joy and fun is thrown through a loop when she meets the two Tau'ri she is supposedly bound to.

Was this fate, or just a cruel trick of her grieving heart? ============= When Ariana opened her eyes in a hospital bed, the world she had known for the past thirty years had vanished. There was no elegant hanfu, bustling marketplace, or warm smiles from her children and grandchildren. Instead, she found herself back in her original life-the life she had lost in a car crash, the life where her fiancé, Paul, had betrayed her with her stepsister, Julie. Her best friend, Tina, is the only anchor in this cold, unfamiliar reality, helping her navigate a world that has moved on without her. But Ariana cannot forget the lifetime she lived in another world, the love she had discovered, the husband she had mourned for a decade before she was ripped away. And then she sees him. A stranger with familiar eyes. A man whose presence tugs at something deep within her, inscribed into her soul. Is he the reincarnation of the man she loved beyond the boundaries of time, or is her grief distorting reality, causing her to chase the shadows of a dream? As Ariana struggles to regain her place in a life she no longer wants, the lines between fiction and fate blur. The past is written, but love might find a way to reshape destiny. ============= A novella inspired by the ONC prompt 129: "The ink of our souls binds us beyond the pages of time," The Ink of Our Souls tells a story of love, loss, and the unbreakable ties that transcend worlds.

For You My Love, I'll Do Anything

9 parts Ongoing

"Are you certain that you know a person best?" The question, spoken in a voice chillingly cold, echoed through the assembled crowd of gods and humans, sending a wave of fear rippling through them. No one dared answer. Primordial beings rarely cared for the anxieties of mortals or even lesser deities. The speaker continued, their gaze sweeping across the silent gathering. "Do you wish to know the story of our honorable fighters for humanity? I think this will teach your arrogant selves a valuable lesson." With a snap of their fingers, Chaos transported everyone back to the blood-soaked arena where Ragnarok had unfolded. The shift was instantaneous, jarring. Confusion, fear, uneasiness, and caution were etched on every face, blurring the supposed lines between gods and humans. They shared these primal emotions, a testament to the shared experience of witnessing such a brutal and extraordinary conflict. "Enjoy," Chaos declared, the word hanging in the air like a death knell. (A reaction fic, where the Gods and humans react to the Einherjar's past life. It gets worse before it gets better.)
