Grounded and stuck in the house on Halloween night, Brittany goes above her parents' wishes and sneaks out of the house. She makes a deal with a wanderer she cannot refuse. She will soon wish she'd decided to respect her parents' wishes. 

Some may remember this short, experimental story I posted a couple of years ago, inspired by a simple prompt. It has since been re-imagined and developed into a full-length chapter book, equipped with in-depth character and story development.All Rights Reserved

He starts to panic; he's the only one panicking; the unwanted guest, on the other hand, just stares at him with a smile as she throws her head back, letting out a chilling laugh. "We'll see who ends up leaving, because I am not going anywhere." She says.
