The air was strangely dense, a heavy atmosphere settling in for no apparent reason. Sitting at the back of a half-filled metro train, Kiyotaka Ayanokoji kept his gaze fixed on the blurred reflection of the window. His calculating eyes scrutinised every movement, every detail, although no emotion showed on his face.
