Vaguely, Vira could hear someone shouting her name, it sounded familiar, but the darkness kept her from hearing who, they sounded desperate though, and Vira tried to fight off the darkness, but it was helpless, it wrapped around her mind, squeezing her in a stranglehold, rendering her useless as the ocean approached. 

  Using her last bit of strength, Vira blearily opened her eyes, and looked up at the cliff, where a figure stood, watching her as she fell, and screaming, his voice raw, his screams echoing through the valley. 

  "Amantis..." She mumbled, reaching her hand out to him. "Help..."

  The cold water hit from all sides, and she sunk beneath the waves.All Rights Reserved
