A seventeen-year-old named Jayden is shipped off to New York City when their mother makes a deal for a supposed career they didn't sign up for. when they arrive with their Grandma, news quickly spreads that a monster has been spotted around Manhattan. Naturally, as our main character picks up a side job for funsies, its just their luck to run into the so-called 'monster.'- Monsters?? Multiple, anyway. 

Takes inspiration from TMNT and A Monster In Paris, which I do not own. 

This is my first story, so please don't be surprised if its not completely grammatically accurate. Anyways, I check this once or twice a week, so if I don't respond to anything written by then, I'll get there eventually.

An eleven-year-old Mimi can see demons. She finds one feeding on a mafia boss, unconscious and bleeding out against her favorite breakfast dumpster. When she saves his life, he rewards her by forcibly taking her from the streets to adopt her. But Mimi doesn't want a dad. She just wants to go back to her parking garage, away from people and the demons that feed on them, which her new 'home' just happens to be full of. She's also not stupid enough to believe a guy who is practically a demon himself could make good parenting material, especially for an unwanted freak like her. And whatever happened to her childhood friend, the monster under her bed? Rated M for violence, some language, mentions of torture, killing people, uh, mature subjects...am I missing anything? The point is, it's not M for porn or inappropriate relationships. Just dark stuff.

jayden was always throwing a party at his and marcos shared house. every time they'd see a small brunette, she was always off by herself and never came with anyone. marcos gave her the name party girl after seeing her every time they threw a party. one night marcos saw party girl passed out on one of his couches, a group of guys watching her weird. marcos steps in and takes the brunette up to his room and took care of her until she came back to her senses. what he didn't know is that his gesture didn't only save her from that group of guys, but also her abusive home life. ------ this book has very dark themes, implied incest and rape that is bought up a few times throughout the book. this is my first time writing something this dark, but if you aren't triggered by those themes i'd really appreciate if you just gave the book a chance!
