At The Royal Academy, orphan girls are transformed into future princesses, their every step a preparation for a life of grace and duty. Bernadette has spent years perfecting the art of royal decorum, on their 16th birthday, the stakes are raised. Chosen by a future king whose identity remains hidden, her training then becomes personal, tailored to the kingdom and the man who awaits her. With only two years to master every challenge, Bernadette must navigate the expectations of royalty while questioning her own desires. As her 18th birthday-and the fateful envelope-draws near, she faces a choice that will define her future: embrace the destiny laid before her or dare to carve her own path.

7 parts Ongoing
Flora was found at her parent's doorstep just a few days before Christmas, in a cold December night when she was just seven months of age. Put there probably with the intention to freeze to death if not found when she had been, Flora was raised in a house with much love but with many monetary issues, one of them being the house itself. Being one of seven mouths to feed her parents were always having to make their best so none of their children went hungry by the end of month. But when her younger sister, Carol, at the tender age of nine, signs her up for the lottery to have a chance to study at the prestigious Queen Louise's Royal Preparatory School at the capital of Iphiria, Flora can't believe she is actually selected. In just a few days she leaves her family, friends and the house she had grown up in behind for the splendour of the capital of Iphiria. If Flora did everything right she would have the chance to be a lady in waiting to a Princess or even a position at the government of Iphiria, which would help her family to no end. And that is her mentality for the following years she's at the school. She's one of the best students of her year, with a record that could set her forth to become valedictorian when the time came, and have any position she wanted upon their Coronation when they reached the age of eighteen. Flora just didn't expect that an old rumour, an old story, a telltale from when she was a little girl would come back to haunt her; the lost princess of Iphiria, lost in the car crash that killed the King and Queen, and most likely the Crown Prince as well. As Flora approaches her Coronation and graduation she just wants everything to be over, but it seems that the rumour keeps following her down the hollowed halls of the old Preparatory School that was once the Winter Castle of the Royal Family of Iphiria. _____ Started: September, 2024 Ended: TBD

Sure, she gets the occasional slap from her Mother, and lives in the poor section of her Country being overly bored with her life, but she's at least normal. Except when you couple those details with the fact that she has crippling anxiety that makes communicating, or doing anything around others torturous for her. This is the main reason why she can never receive her Mother's love that she so desperately wants. Until, her parents catch wind that the Royal Academy is opening back up. The Academy is accepting one fifteen year old or older girl or boy to compete in a race to become the next monarch of Alumbridge. Her Mother is overjoyed at the news, until she realizes she only has one option to send there. So here we are, anxiety-ridden Catherine forced to compete in this competition with other people her age just to help her family with finances, and finally receive affection from her mother. Things at the Academy are alright, rocky, but overall she's alright. She's just passing by. Until, she discovers some dark truths against her world that she can't bear to ignore any further. These truths both propel her into action, and cause her to question all she's known her entire sheltered life.
