The storyline of Falling With The Fallen follows two young women, Kate Woods and Scarlett Winters. Kate Woods is only a few short months from graduating high school and is struggling to battle the pressures of her impending future. Simple. Wrong, as her future depends on if she carries the gene for immortality and she can help determine the fate of humans. That's where Scarlett Winters comes in, with the important mission of determining if the possible gene has surfaced. With the intention that she doesn't want to interact with Kate, she watches her from afar, but when she gets herself placed in the path of danger-Scarlett is forced to get closer.
