Abigail "Abby" Mercer had it all-an idyllic love story with her husband, Andrew "Drew" Mercer, the man who made every day feel like a dream come true. They shared a life built on deep love and devotion, with Drew surprising her with the car of her dreams as a symbol of his affection. But a simple mistake-faulty windshield wipers-changes everything.

After a terrible accident in the rain, Abby wakes up disoriented, her memories of the crash wiped away along with the beautiful life she and Drew shared. Her once-familiar world now feels like a strange and unsettling place, and the man sitting by her bedside, devastated and guilt-ridden, is a stranger to her. Drew, desperate to remind Abby of the love they built, tells her he's her husband, but she recoils in confusion, unable to remember him or their life together.

As Drew fights to rekindle the spark of their lost love, Abby struggles to trust the man she can't remember loving. He replaces her ruined car with a modest project car, and together, they embark on a journey to restore it-mirroring the slow, painful process of rebuilding their relationship from the ground up.

Through heartbreak, small victories, and moments of tenderness, Abby begins to feel something stir for Drew, a connection she can't quite place. But as their shared time in the garage becomes a testament to persistence and patience, the question remains: will she ever remember the man who holds her heart, or will they be forced to start anew forever?

In a powerful tale of love lost and found, The Second Time Around explores the strength it takes to fight for a love that's been forgotten, and the hope that sometimes, second chances are just what the heart needs.

Rose finally realizes that she can do this alone, she's going to need help from her father to help her get back on and also have help from the new cute boy, Austin who's helping for his community service. Dylan Watkins married the love of his life ten years ago. Five years ago, he lost the love of his life in a tragic car accident. His son Noah, however, survived the accident. Now, Dylan's only reason for living is his son. His priority is his son's well-being, and he makes no secret about it. Dylan's parents, who also adored Maddy, think it's time for Dylan to get back to living life instead of staying home for Noah. Vice President of the Watkins Group, a development firm started by his father, Dylan, works from home most of the time, stating he needs to be available for Noah whenever he needs him. Dylan's mother thinks Noah needs a mother and that Dylan is too young to spend the rest of his life as a widower. She recognizes that no one could ever replace Maddy, but she also acknowledges that Dylan and Noah aren't healing as well as they could be living their isolated lives. Dylan isn't a fan of his mother's interference and attempts to set him up with various women. After all, no one can replace Maddy, and Dylan doesn't even want to try. Until a delivery girl shows up on his doorstep one evening. And then shows up again to deliver another package. And then in the offices of the Watkins Group. Could it be a coincidence? Could it be fate? Or could it be someone who can help Dylan pick up the pieces of his life? ---------- DISCLAIMER: This is a work of fiction.
