Katrina Rivers and Roxanne Wells, her best friend, are therianthropes. Therianthropes are humans that can change into animals at will. They have no control over what they can transform into and they must transform before their seventeenth birthday. Katrina only has 6 months left until her time is up. Nobody but the council knows what the results are if one doesn't shift. She's scared of what will happen, but of course she'd rather die than admit it. Because Katrina has yet to shift she has been really stressed. When two shifters tell her that they're mates it didn't exactly relieve any stress. Who is her real mate? Which shifter is lying? Are they both being dishonest? Does her real mate want her?
