In the not so distant future, humans have began colonizing the far reaches of space. The Alterra Corporation sent a ship named "The Aurora" out to the Ariadne Arm Galaxy to construct an interstellar Phasegate for advanced space travel. Before arriving at their destination, The Aurora made an emergency crash landing on an uncharted planet called 4546B. Only 1 crew member miraculously survived the crash; Non-Essentials System Maintenance Chief Ryley Robinson. Stranded light years away from civilization on a planet entirely covered in water, he'll have to use his wits, tools and the alien life to help him survive. Lost Sea
Hongjoong is part of a research team on Aurora, one of the biggest and safest spaceships to ever cross the skies. Or rather Hongjoong WAS part of a research team. Because the Aurora just crashed on Planet 4546B due to hull failure. Hongjoong, of all people survived and now has to find his way back home from some unknown water planet. And as if all of that was not already bad enough the android assigned to him is not sweet KYS 17 with whom he usually worked. It was PSH 22, notorious for being an annoying tin box. Subnautica: A Rise of Time
After Sector Zero's research stations and other things failed, Alterra has sent around forty or so scientists to the Aurora's Crater, where the Aurora crashed around seven years ago. The goal of the researchers is to find out more about the planet's history, and research the fauna and flora that inhabit the Aurora's Crater. But when they think everything is going to go right and nothing will go wrong, everything flips. With a sudden change, there's already an accident, a revenge-seeking rogue, murderous scientist, and a manager on the brink of insanity because of his status of being the only survivor of the Aurora's crash.
