"Mamma, do you love me?" I asked. She leaned over and kissed me on the forehead gently.
"Of course I do."
I woke up with tears streaming down my face. I tried to get up, but my whole body hurt. I looked at the clock. I was officially eight years old.
Emily Watson wasn't a normal girl. She was one of those 'loner nerds' who wore horrid clothing and said nothing to anybody. She was one of those girls who kept a dark secret.
It has been ten years since she had that dream. It was the last time she ever felt happy.
Emily has faced things no eighteen year old should face. Between a broken home and a broken body, she's finally had enough. So when she hears of a chance to escape, she jumps at the chance.
But, what would happen if she runs into five boys? Not just any boys, ones that you would least expect to meet. Who were these boys who popped into her life? Was she going to let the five of them into her life? Will she become their rock, their friend? What happens when she's thrown into their little mix? Lies, hook-ups, heartbreaks, make-ups, and love.
But, will Emily learn that keeping up walls will only drive out the people who love her? Will she learn that she should let those walls down? And more importantly, will she learn that dark secrets are meant to be revealed?

"You broke up with him, he has been begging you all summer to not leave him and now that he finally moved on you are going to act all territorial? It's not fair to Lou, Harry." "You don't have the right to tell me what to do." Harry snaps even though he knows that his friend is right. He broke up with Louis. He was the stupid one in the situation and now he has to witness how a boy that loved him once with all his heart, is now giving his love to someone else. 5 boys met each other in music class, a subject for which they share a passion. They started to have this class in the very beginning of high school, the boys being 12-13 years old. They were drawn to each other like magnets, and for sure Harry and Louis who started dating the second they know the meaning of that word. And they have been dating ever since until last June, when Louis graduated High school and had to go to university in London while Harry still had another year to go. Harry broke up and after a summer full of desperate voicemails, texts and phone calls, the curly lad doesn't hear anything anymore from his ex-lover. The stress really weighs down on him and all he can do is ride his horse Star to forget his coming birthday. There is always two stable boys ready with his horse when ever he comes by on Tuesdays or Thursdays without fail. Star is always properly groomed, and washed to perfection. Harry has a gut feeling it isn't the two regular stable boys, since they're always immaculately clean and he knows working in a stable all day is pretty dirty.
