HI! This was originally a short story I wrote for my English class, but I am suuuuper proud of it, so I decided to share it. It's about a boy who wants to show his friend something spooky and dangerous in the woods... I don't want to spoil it, although I think it becomes quite obvious early on... if you like body horror or the supernatural, this is definitely the story for you. If you like it, please let me know! To find something out of the ordinary is both overwhelming and frightening at the same time but i felt like i understand and that its ok to accept the once i called monster in front of me. I took a step forward and reach out my hand "I promise to keep this a secret" ...,............... I wrote this when I was like 14, it has a terribly cliche plot, even with the alternate endings. This is your classic mate rejection, runaway, coming back to kick butt and train their old pack, werewolf story. If you like cliches as much as I do, then I hope you love this! Darkmoon Pack (Werewolves)
**#1 in #Darkmoon** A walk in the forest, that's what I need. A stressful day at school and a walk in the forest will relax me. This is what I do all the time. Every day without fail, I take a hour walk in the forest behind my home after school. This time something happened that I didn't even expect in these woods. At first I heard a low growl and thought it was just a dog and an owner. Then it got louder, sounding like it was getting closer. My head jerked in a direction where a twig snapped, causing my heart to start beating faster then normal. It was a bit dark in the forest, considering it was winter. Then that's when I saw it, the red eyes coming from the bushes. My feet were frozen to the spot, I wanted to run but my feet didn't want to move. I felt a hand go on my shoulder, turning my head, I saw a man, probably in his early twenties. ''Run!'' He whispered but loud enough for it to be a shout. I looked at the eyes and a hand grabbed mine, pulling me off in a different direction. This isn't the best way to meet someone but what happens when they see more of each other? I curled under the jungle gym and cried my eyes out. Suddenly a shadow hovered over me. I looked up saw a boy about my age staring at me with a Unknown expression. He bent down and wiped away my tears with the pad of his thumbs. I immediately stopped crying and looked into his bright Emerald eyes. "Why are you crying?" He asked and I looked down. "Because I know that'll never make friends here" I said quietly. He was quiet for a minute before finally speaking up. "I'll be your friend" he said quietly while looking into my eyes. I smiled a toothy grin. "Really!?" I asked and he nodded his head.
