But these people are foreign to this land, for they are humans, unexpectedly brought to the land of Hyrule, which they believed to be merely a fictional world from a video game. With only a single message from the Goddess to guide them, they must navigate Hyrule and all of its challenges in order to help save Hyrule and discover the reason why they were brought to Hyrule. Will they discover their purpose and find the way home? The once great kingdom of Hyrule was destroyed by the calamity. But before all it's people could be slaughtered the princess awakened her sacred powers, powers to turn back evil. Unfortunately it was not soon enough for her loyal and caring guardian knight, however his time had not come. Alone the princess contained the calamity to the castle buying her knight, the hero chosen by the goddess Hylia, time to recover from his mortal wounds. For a hundred years the land of Hyrule was threatened by the great calamity, every year the princess seal weakened ever so slightly. After his awakening the former knight turned hero rushed from one end of Hyrule to the next making allies and defeating the calamity and it's servants. And once again the princess is reunited with her knight.

Inspired by "Romance is in the Air" by @Azadia_the_Rito (please check them out their works are incredible) I've decided to try my hand at making a fanfic with the endgame being my favorite pairing: Link x Revali. I know it may seem odd to spoil but I want people to know what they're getting into. (BTW this is my FIRST time writing one of these so please bear with me) This will not be a purely romance story but it will be a major part later on. I just really wanted to dive into this wonderful world with my own touch, so here's how I'm going to do it. To start Revali is my favorite character in Breath of the Wild and I think all the champions deserve more story and interaction with Link. This will be taking place after Calamity Ganon's defeat so be wary of spoilers. This will be a SLOW burn and when I mean slow I mean like halfway between a snail and a glacier. Not crazy slow but just enough to make it worth the payoff. I'll say that right now no matter what happens there will be a happy ending because I can't bring myself to write a sad one. Not that it won't get sad along the way, oh no I'm going to take hearts and mince them into a fine chopped stew of emotion. I promise however I will preface anything I feel worth warning about in the beginning of each chapter in authors notes. No matter what happens I just want y'all to know that as long as one person smiles, all the work is worth it to me. Hope you enjoy! :)

There will be rather graphic descriptions of war and battles, and self-harm and depression will trigger some of you, but there are no sexual scenes, nor swearing.
