Kuro, shy and observant, struggles to connect with his classmates while grappling with the reality of their dire situation. As the first murder rocks the group, tensions rise, and suspicion spreads like wildfire. Kuro's talent for observation becomes crucial as he begins to piece together clues, noticing details that others overlook.

Amidst the chaos, he forges unexpected bonds with his peers, including the determined Kyoko Kirigiri and the hot-headed Mondo Owada, as they try to maintain their humanity in the face of despair.
