The Cultri Clan hid their eldest son, Nathan, at the age of eleven, in a small town in the heart of the United States to protect him from the relentless hunt by the Bowyer Clan's werewolves. Nathan Cultri vanished, and in his place, Nathan Anthony emerged - an ordinary child from Bel Lar, a quiet town, orphaned and under the care of his eccentric great-aunt. Nearly seven years later, after an extended period of training for his return, Nathan encounters a creature that should be far from there. Friederik, a young werewolf with a forgotten surname, appears, begging for help. With no memories and wandering for longer than he can recall, Friederik carries only a small scrap of paper with Nathan's name scrawled on it.
