Heart of a Spartan.

After you finish a solo mission of utmost importance, you get assigned to a new mission with the UNSC hero. They saw something in your performance that even sparked the attention of the Chief himself.
You'd always heard talk, but you'd never met him. Finding yourself in close contact with him after something goes wrong, leading the two of you to become closer as work partners or maybe more.

My first halo fic but I'm an absolute fanatic, this is obviously gonna have lore aspects and spoilers but I'm going to try and keep it loose just incase you wanna learn more through the games themselves.
Chief is my all-time favorite fictional character, so I wanna do him justice with this story, I'm open to constructive criticism, and I can make a discord for feedback if this actually gets reads😭
