On her eleventh birthday, Jennie Kim received a letter from a school she had never heard of: Hogwarts. Jennie was a witch of Muggle parents - as non-wizards were called - and would begin her school year on September 1st, attending school for seven years to learn magic and sorcery.
Lalisa Manoban, daughter of pure-blood wizards, like the entire Manoban family, was looking forward to her eleventh birthday; she felt ready to go to Hogwarts and be a great witch, like her ancestors.
Right from the start, Lalisa and Jennie didn't get along; they were always exchanging barbs in the school corridors, and the rivalry they created didn't allow them to see what fate awaited them.
