Hannah Watson had a pretty usual life.

Until the moment it all slipped from her fierce hold. The moment top speed came to a crashing halt as her life was placed on an entirely different trajectory.
The shock of Rhodes' unexpected death was enough to burst the charmed little bubble Hannah lived in. Finding out he'd purchased his family's ancient manor home, The Halloway House, in a town she'd never even heard of, seemed like the last bolt on the door that had just slammed closed on her old life.
Coastal, Ontario. The quaint little waterfront town that resided on Georgian Bay, almost four hours northwest of Toronto.
She'd never even heard of it. But she now, it seemed, she owned property there. In an attempt to somehow move past the tragic turn her life had taken, Hannah packed up her modern one-bedroom condo, filled her Prius to the max and drove out to her new home. If home was what you could call the two-hundred-year-old mansion in a state of gaudy dilapidation.
Coastal exuded small town charm from the moment Hannah passed its gazebo-clad town square, its coffeeshops galore and scenic beach views. But there was something else pressing in beneath the layers of autumn bliss, something from another era, observing and casting its eerie glow - all originating at the property of The Halloway House.
She stepped through the threshold of her new life only to realize new players were about to join her, some as otherworldly as the house itself. Some so alluring, so captivating that the line between time and space, between this realm and that, between the living and the dead, were not as important or as tangible as she once believed.

Soon it becomes apparent why: Mason is a werewolf. But when a fight turns into a sudden kiss that neither expects, Kieran's feelings for Mason turn to attraction in an instant. None of it makes sense - vampires and werewolves are supposed to be mortal enemies, so why does Kieran find Mason so irresistible? He knows that each kiss is dangerous, each bite is unpredictable...
