Stories about dreams always seem to make sense. But look at them. Do they? Events twist and turn, the world falls apart and rebuilds, and we rarely ever realize is until we've woken up. A dream is merely a reflection of our day, of our lives and of our deepest thoughts. The following is a text painting of a more realistic dream, originally written to build a story fo a high school orchestra piece.

Preface Sometimes, our dreams represent what we went through during the day. Some might argue that it is our brains way of filing all the new information every night from the twelve hours spent prior to sleeping. Sleep would be something that if we didn't experience it every day, something incredibly terrifying. Our body shuts off, processing and storing, like a machine. Our dreams are something that are mostly insignificant. But with some people, they mean something and tell us something, perhaps even warn us. Most of us with this insight ignore it, but I couldn't.
