Lately, Ellie has been daydreaming about the same things. For Finals Week to go at least okay, a better boyfriend, and most of all to escape. At least, she's thinking of going to another college. Or maybe even entering in her school's study abroad program to Madrid, Spain. When suddenly, through what seems to be mere luck. Ellie gets all she wants and more through the magical world of Mertha being revealed to her. Nobody she knows has the ability to see the things, the creatures she sees. As her power grows stronger, the ability for these creatures to see her, grows too. How will Ellie react to being thrust into this new world? Will she be glad that she has the ability to escape her old, mundane life? What of her boyfriend? Will she stay with him? Or entertain the many other men who seem interesting to her? Despite the fact that they are of such different personality types, ages, and even species. But, most of all. Will Ellie make it out alive? She finds herself in the middle of something bigger than even Finals Week, and she may not be up for the task.

The Prophecy
